1. Where does the tile classification of A, AA, A1 originate?
Như chúng ta đã biết, gạch men được sản xuất phụ thuộc nhiều vào “thành phần hóa” trong đất, phong hóa và chu kỳ nung. Bởi thế hai viên gạch của hai đợt sản xuất khác nhau sẽ có sự chênh lệch nhất định. Hiện tượng lệch màu có thể xảy ra. Bên cạnh đó, mặc dù hiện nay gạch được sản xuất trên dây chuyền công nghệ hiện đại nhưng vẫn không tránh được một số lỗi có thể xảy ra như: lỗ kim trên bề mặt, cong vênh, màu không đạt… Chính vì vậy, mỗi nhà sản xuất phải phân loại sản phẩm thành gạch loại 1 – 2 – 3 tùy theo chất liệu giảm dần.
Tùy vào mỗi hãng gạch khác nhau, mỗi loại gạch sẽ có ký hiệu khác nhau.
Đối với các sản phẩm gạch CMC:
- Trước ngày 01/01/2022: sản phẩm loại 1 kí hiệu A, sản phẩm loại 2 ký hiệu A1, sản phẩm loại 3 ký hiệu AA.
- Từ ngày 01/01/2022 đến nay (thay đổi theo quy cách đóng vỏ):
- PRODUCTS loại 1 kí hiệu A,
- PRODUCTS loại 2 ký hiệu A2,
- PRODUCTS loại 3 ký hiệu A3
2. Distinction of tile grades 1–2–3
Depending on each manufacturer, there will be a set of standards for issuing separate assessments for tile products of grades 1 - 2 - 3 that have been registered with the state management agency.
- Grade 1: This is the tile that is frequently regarded as a high-quality standard tile. Standard sizes, sharp designs, and non-warping tiles are common characteristics of this type of tile. This sort of tile often has the highest price of all the tiles.
- Grade 2: This tile type is inferior to tile type 1. Typically, this batch of tiles will have pinholes on the surface, or the color will be uneven, the size will be inconsistent, and the tile will have minimal warping. Depending on the manufacturer, the percentage of this type of tile ranges from 1% to 5%.

3. Way to choose standard tiles when purchasing
You should be familiar with the firm's tile symbols. You can also test tiles directly in the following ways:
- Knock on the tile, if the tile makes a resounded sound, it means that the tile is hard and solid. However, this method does not apply to wall tiles.
- Put a few drops of water on the unglazed tile surface. Keep an eye on the water absorption process; the slower the tile absorbs water, the better. This procedure, however, should not be used with wall tiles.
- To check for tile warping, place two tiles face to face and see whether there is a gap. If there is, the tile is warped. The sort of tile with the smallest opening should be chosen.
- Examine the tile's surface. Make sure there are no microscopic air bubbles in the grade-1 tile. This will prevent further yellowing, fading, and scratching.
